Is the website free to use?

Yes, all quizzes and printables on the website are free for anyone to use. If you want to experience the website without ads or define your own custom locations on any of the maps, you can pay a small monthly fee via Patreon.com.

What different pricing options do you offer?

Seterra Membership Level 1 - $1 per month

  • Keep track of your progress using personal high score lists!
  • Get an ad-free experience!
  • Your custom quizzes will never be deleted.
  • Add custom locations to quizzes.


Seterra Membership Level 2 - $5 per month
This includes everything in Level 1, plus:

  • All custom quizzes you create will be ad-free for everyone (up to 1,000 pageloads / month).


Seterra Membership Level 3 - $10 per month
This includes everything in Level 1, plus:

  • All custom quizzes you create will be ad-free for everyone (up to 10,000 pageloads / month).

I signed up for a membership, but I still cannot add custom locations.

Make sure you are logged in to the Seterra website. Log in using your Patreon account by clicking the "Log in" link in the top right corner.

I am a Seterra member. Where can I find a list of all the custom quizzes I have created?

When logged in, click your email address in the top right corner of the online.seterra.com website.

How do I cancel my monthly payment?

You can cancel your pledge at any time. Login in to the Patreon.com website, then go to www.patreon.com/pledges, and click "Edit".

Can I print your PDFs and use them in my classroom?

Yes, of course. You can find all our printables here.

The iOS And Android Apps

I have purchased the iOS app. Can I install it on an additional device for free?

If you bought the app via an in-app purchase in the free version of the app, you can unlock it on a different device. On the new device, in the Settings screen of the free Seterra app, click the "Restore previous purchases" button. Please note that, unfortunately, this does not work if the devices use different AppleIDs, even if they're connected via Family Sharing.

If you bought the full app from the AppStore or Google Play, you can download it from that source again, but on the new device. This works if the old and new devices uses the same AppleID, and it also works if the new device has a different AppleID but is connected to the old device via Family Sharing.

I purchased the full Android version, but I am still seeing ads!

If you have the free Android version installed, and then purchase the full Android version, you will have two Seterra apps on your device. Make sure you're running the full version. The free version will still show ads.

When I try to zoom or scroll a map, the app registers clicks instead!

In the Seterra app Settings screen, you can change the "Select with" setting. Set it to "Tap + confirmation button," and that should solve the problem.

How can I reset the high score lists?

Uninstall the app and install it again from the AppStore or Google Play. (You will not be charged again.)

I want to purchase the iOS app for my school. Can I get a discount?

If you get an Apple School Manager account, you will get a 50% discount on Seterra (and most other Appstore apps), provided you buy 20 licenses or more.
